BRIWAX The World's Premier Finishing Wax

Briwax is a blend of beeswax and carnauba wax, two of the finest waxes known to man. Briwax is designed to protect all wood and any finish that may be applied to it. Use Briwax on all woods, leather, marble, concrete, metal and painted surfaces. It improves the finish of any piece. Briwax is available in the Original formula or Toluene Free formula (no, it is not called Briwax 2000 any more!). Mix and match colors and/or formula for your market. Use the color chart below as a guide to the shades of Briwax.

The addition of various dye colors suspended in the wax allows Briwax to diminish minor scratches disappear without changing the character or color of the piece.
An inherent cleaning solvent in the wax is designed to clean grease and grime off the surface before it evaporates, leaving a waxed surface. This thin film of wax prevents oils and salts (fingerprints) from harming the surface finish.
Take a look at Original Formula vs. Toluene Free to become more familiar with the details of the differences of the two formulas.

Spray Briwax
BRIWAX SPRAY, is a revolutionary new introduction to our furniture and wood product line, it is a "surface shine and spray polish" for antique reproduction finishes, especially for use on hardwoods like Teak, Oak, Mahogany and Walnut where it gives added depth to tired surfaces commonly seen in antique and regular furniture showrooms. Briwax Spray is also an “all in one” top coat finish over any finish that has dulled over time.
- Quick, and easy to use
- Makes the wood feel silky and smooth
- Produces a semi-gloss finish on raw timber
- Wax shine on finished wood
- Contains no silicones
- Fresh aroma
- Cleans and renews the finish
Apply a quick economical spray, wait for a minute and then wipe off with a soft buffing rag/lint free cloth for best results. On some unfinished woods, two coats of Briwax Spray will give a more even finish than one.
It is far superior to household sprays and other similar products. As it is a genuine WAX spray it does not contain surfactants, soaps, or silicones, it relies on the cleaning properties of the high quality selected waxes contained in the spray. Most household sprays, purchased from the grocery store, contain no wax and simply evaporate after application, leaving no protective finish.
Available in Clear.

SHERADALE WAX
Sheradale Wax is made of a similar blend of waxes to original Briwax but with the addition of paraffin, a petroleum based wax, which makes it more water resistant. It also has a mineral spirit based solvent, making it easier to use on finished surfaces such as lacquer. The paraffin in Sheradale wax will result in a higher sheen than Briwax. Sheradale is recommended as a final finishing wax on old and new wood to obtain the finest quality shine. It maintains the existing patina and enhances the beauty of the wood. This product is suitable for true antique furniture.
Sheradale comes in a Clear and an Antique Brown. The color in the wax is used to hide minor scratches.
Available in: antique brown and clear

LIMING WAX
This wax is a smooth paste formulation, which produces a white grained finish in open pored woods. Finish off the liming effect with an application of Clear Briwax to clean up the finished piece.
Note: Lately, we have received calls asking for "Ceruse" as a form of Liming Wax. "Ceruse" was a 16th century cosmetic used as a skin whitener. "Ceruse" or "Venetian Ceruse" contained a pigment composed of white lead that would eventually damage the user's skin. A notable user of this type of cosmetic was Elizabeth I of England. The name may be around, but the product is not. If you are looking for Ceruse, just ask for Briwax Liming Wax. Briwax Liming Wax does NOT contain lead.
If you've never used Liming Wax, take a minute and read the Liming Wax Hints
Available in 250 ml and 3.5 litre trade size.

NATURAL CREAMED BEESWAX
Manufactured to a traditional formula using only refined natural beeswax, linseed oils and genuine turpentine. Natural creamed beeswax can be used to clean and revive the natural color wood and enrich the patina on the finest furniture.
The amount of linseed oil used gives the product that creamy consistency. There is no carnauba wax in this product so the shine will not be as pronounced. This is a wax that was developed for true Antiques, pieces over 100 years old. This is an excellent choice if you're looking for a simple, low-luster finish.
